MICHAEL LOEHR

Michael Loehr is a performer with a mischievous presence (La Grande Parade) and a magnetic, animalistic, ultrahuman body (La Provence / Teatro e Critica). Covered in tattoos, he has the supplest arms. And a direct gaze. (The British Theatre Guide). He is a stage beast with incredible flexibility and charisma (La Provence), a giant of the stage with a compelling unpretentiousness and genius of movement (Dagens Nyheter), a glamorous but disheveled creature of the night (The New Yorker).

Michael Loehr is the first dancer ever to be honored with the Herbert von Karajan Prize for outstanding artistic achievements.
