In Gat's Sacre, five performers—two men and three women—take the stage. This composition creates a surplus of women, a disruption of balance that necessitates action. If a ménage à trois becomes unworkable or uncomfortable, someone must make a sacrifice for the group's harmony.
The music took me, I went with it. I think it takes a lot of courage to choreograph to this music. [...] There is a nice solo at the end of the performance, but it is as if the dancer changes the very end of the story: she makes a final gesture to the audience, as if to say, I will not be a victim.
