Gat offers a highly original and personal interpretation of Stravinsky’s masterpiece. At the center of the stage, on a red carpet, three couples move to the rhythm of salsa: the dancers spin and sway, guided by the expert lead of their partners, whom they seamlessly and fluidly exchange. But upon closer observation, it becomes clear that there aren’t three couples, but rather three female dancers and two male dancers.
