The Théâtre de l’Olivier is a theatre located in the heart of the city of Istres in the South of France.
Transformed from a village hall into a 750-seat auditorium, Théâtre de l’Olivier opened its doors in 1975. With the renovation and reorganization of the stage in 1990, new technical devices and better comfort for the spectators, Théâtre de l’Olivier now offers 574 places and two additional rooms to accommodate exhibitions, meetings, etc.
The multi-disciplinary program offers theatre, comedy, dance, circus, music and shows for young audiences as well as a variety of supporting activities like public rehearsals, workshops, conferences and open air performances.
