DANCE MÜNCHEN
DANCE – Internationales Festival für zeitgenössischen Tanz der Landeshauptstadt München is a biannual dance festival in Munich, Germany.
DANCE, curated by festival director Nina Hümpel, focuses on promoting Munich’s local dance scene as well as on the presentation of acclaimed international choreographers and companies. In addition, a whole set of lectures, lecture performances, talks and exhibitions round up the program.
The 15th edition took place in May 2017 and featured productions by Sharon Eyal, Emanuel Gat, Trajal Harrel, Richard Siegal’s Ballet of Difference, Wim Vandekeybus, VA Wölfl’s avantgarde-ensemble Neuer Tanz and many others.
